Brainwave entrainment is essentially in regards to the synchronization of our cerebrums ruling brainwaves with an exterior source of periodic stimulus. This stimulus will be aural, for example the case of binaural beats, monaural beats or isochronic tones. It also can be visual, as in the case of flickering lights.
