All of us are under tremendous stress these days. Stress greets us daily in various forms. It can be in the form of work pressure, unmet deadlines, pressure from social life and meeting its demands, financial demands, etc. When the entire world is trying to cope with the effects of financial meltdown across the globe that results in job loss, job insecurity, financial insecurity, all of us are overstressed. We will be able to take only a certain amount of stress before we break down. We need additional support to achieve resilience against stress. We can help ourselves by setting aside a few minutes everyday for meditation. Though meditation is such a powerful way of fighting stress, not all of us realize the importance of meditation.
